Working With You

Working and playing together

We feel very much a part of the local community and want families to feel the school is your school.

We aim to be an inclusive school, and create a welcoming environment. OFSTED 2007 said we ‘prioritise the well-being of all the children and their families’.

Parents are most welcome come to the nursery, and play with their own child, watch them play or work with a small group of children.

Parents and younger brothers and sisters are invited to share in our celebration of festivals.

From time to time we ask for parents' help with jobs in the nursery such as painting and woodwork.

We value any special skills such as music, art or cookery which parents may be able to share with children and staff.

Here to help

Our staff team are here to listen to you and learn about your child from you.

Sharing our knowledge about a child is so important to your child's well being and development.

We have a Parental Involvement worker, Rahima Ali who speaks Bengali who will help you and your child settle in.

She will also let you know about courses and classes we run.

Yasmin Khan is our Outreach worker.

She speaks Urdu and she is a Nursery Nurse who can come to your home to play with your child and give you information about the school and centre.

Saleha Islam is our Healthy living Outreach worker.

She speaks Bangla and can help you with any health concerns you may have about your child.

She also gives talks at Toddler Group on Staying Healthy.
