The morning session starts at 9.00 a.m. If you arrive earlier, wait in the lobby with your child. Please arrive by 9.20 a.m. at the latest - the nursery sessions are short and we want your child to get maximum benefit from them.
The door is locked at 9.30 a.m. You will need to speak to the Receptionist to let you in.
Take your child to the cloakroom and hang up their coat on their coat peg.
Take your child and their registration card into the classroom and say hello to their teacher.
Your child can then choose their preferred play area.
There are always staff available for you to talk to at the start of the session.
Our Parental Involvement Worker is here on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
You are very welcome to stay and join in the play or read a story or watch what is going on!
Outdoor play is available from about 9.40 a.m.: children can go out when they want to. You will need.
All children can have a Snack in the morning, in the Blue Room
The morning session ends at 11.30 a.m. (Play goes on for full-time children, make sure that staff know that you and your child are leaving the building.)
Please collect your child before 11.30 a.m. Make sure no other child leaves with you.
We start our lunch session at 11.30 a.m. and staff have to make sure the Full Time children are ready for dinner (hand washing etc).

At 3.15 p.m. children are in groups for singing and story.
If you come to collect your child before 3.00 p.m., please tell a member of staff you are taking them. Please try not to interrupt the story session.
The nursery school core provision finishes at 3.30 p.m. Children attending extended day provision can stay until 6pm.
There are two classrooms for 3-5 year olds : The Blue Room and the Green Room.

The outside play area is open throughout the day and offers various learning opportunities including:-
Each classroom has a team of one teacher and two nursery nurses.
There are often classroom assistants, students and trainees and sometimes parents.
When children are outside the play area is staffed by at least two members of staff unless there are very small numbers of children.
