Manningham in Bloom Certificate win!
To all the families celebrating Eid we hope you had a very happy Eid and enjoyed the parties at school. Children had a lot of fun watching the magician. the photos are in the corridor by the door to the 3-5’s room.
We’re very pleased to have won a certificate in this event. Ms Galley went to receive the certificate with some of our children and parents. The photos are on the Digital display in the lobby.
October is the month for families to make the most of lots of events and activities . We’re joining in the Bookstart Day on Friday 10th October and lots more activities can be found on: http://www.bradford.gov.uk/information_and_communication/library_and_information_services/family_learning_festival/
We will shortly be sending out the forms to elect a new parent governor. The work of the Governing Body is vital to the functioning of the School and Centre so please put yourself forward if you would like to be part of the Governing Body. Please talk to Mrs Khan Outreach worker and Nursery Nurse) or Mrs Ali (Parental Involvement Worker) or Mrs Dix (Headteacher) if you’d like to know more about Governing Body work.
Parent forums are a more informal meeting where parents can meet to discuss school and centre developments. We have bilingual support available. The next Forum date is the 21st October at 1.15pm

Please remember that Nursery School finishes on Thursday 23rd October and we close for half term, coming back on Monday 3rd November 2008 .
