Hurray were OUTSTANDING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Parents and Carers,
Outstanding OFSTED Report
We do hope you’re as pleased as we are with the outcomes of the OFSTED Inspection. This Inspection included both the Nursery School and Childcare provision .It was our second outstanding report.
The results are a testament to the dedication and commitment of all the staff over a long period of time.
The report also highlighted how well we work with partners which include the Family Services team. Although the Children’s Centre Family services team were not inspected it was noted that they play a large part in supporting our families and children. The inspectors also mentioned the cleanliness of the school (so well done to Ophy our Caretaker and Ellen our Cleaner) and the friendliness and helpfulness of our Reception Team.
Please take time to read the attached report and also share the children’s letter from the Inspector at the back of the document with your child.
You will see that the inspector refers to the fact that I will be retiring at the end of the Spring Term. As many of you know I have been at the school for a long time and have really enjoyed my work here but now look forward to a little bit of a rest!
We will keep you informed of who will be taking on the responsibility of leading the school.
School closes for half term on Friday 12th February. We reopen on Monday 22nd February.
Childcare and Children Centre Services will run as normal.
Over the years parents have contributed a small amount of money per week to enable us to provide food at snack time. The snack money also means we can buy materials for baking and cooking activities which the children really enjoy. The contribution is 35p per week for Part timers and 70p for Full timer’s .We’d like to remind parents that their contribution is greatly appreciated and can be paid weekly at the Reception desk. If you prefer you can pay monthly. If any money is left over it goes towards paying for our minibus outings.
Let’s look forward to some warmer weather in the in the new spring half term!
