Dear Parents and Carers,
A reminder that we’re celebrating World Book Day (Thursday March 4th) with a week long emphasis on books and stories.
In the Green Room we’ll have our big ‘Story telling Chair’.
There’ll be lots of places you can come and look at books with your child so come and spend a few minutes looking at your child’s favourite book.
Each of the children in the Blue and Green Rooms will receive a £1.00 gift voucher. (Waterstones in Bradford accept the vouchers).
Library
A reminder that we run a library in school that’s open every Tuesday 9- 9.30 am and 1- 1.30 pm. You can borrow a book for free each week and bring it back the next week.
Parent’s Conference
Parents in our area are invited to a conference at Manningham Mills on March 25th 2009 . Each parent attending will get a £10 voucher.
We have places for 5 parents and the idea is for parents to have a voice in the development of local Children’s Centre Services. Please see Mrs Rahima Ali (Parental involvement Officer) or Mr Abu Saleh ( Family Services Coordinator) if you’d like to go.
