Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you enjoyed the ‘The Postman’s Box of Tricks’ performance. We’ll have some photos on the web site shortly so that you can show your families and friends.
Christmas Celebrations
Children are helping to decorate Christmas Trees and make room decorations.
We’ll introduce the children to the Nativity Story and show them the model Crib. We’ll also learn some Xmas songs.
We’ll have a Celebration dinner for Full time children on Wednesday 16th December.
Lion Learners
A special event for children and parents together. Like to see some animals with your child ? Then come to Lion Learners. This company will bring in both small domestic and exotic animals for children to touch and see. If you’d like to come please see the Family Support Team- Zainab, Neelam, Rahima or Karen. There are 2 sessions 9.30 – 10-30 am and 1.30-2.30pm.
Leavers Ceremony
On Friday 18th 2009 we will hold a Leavers Ceremony for those children who are leaving nursery and moving to their new schools. It will take place at 9.30am .
New Staff
Last week we said goodbye to Mrs Noorzehat Khan who has worked at the school for 6 years. We wish her well in her new post. Until we recruit a new member of staff we will have some temporary staff working with us – Mrs Bux, Miss Dixon and a volunteer student Miss Bibi.
Admissions to Primary School
Please can you make sure you return your admission forms by JANUARY 11TH. You can send them directly to the Primary school, to School Admissions or you can leave them at our Reception to be sent on to School Admissions at Future House.
Holiday Closure dates
Our last day for nursery school is Friday 18th December and we close for the Christmas holidays .School opens Monday January 4th 2010.
Please note the Children’s Centre is open until Thursday 24th December 2009 and Toddler group will run as usual on Monday December 21st .The centre opens again on January 4th 2010.
Best wishes for the holidays and we send our very best wishes to the children who are leaving this December. Good luck in your new Schools.
